The Co-alc Alliance is an independent organisation founded in January 2021
to raise awareness of increased risk of suicide in people taking alcohol and cocaine together.

 

The Founding Members are Maggie Cee, and bereaved mothers and leading campaigners

  • Nicola Abraham of the Jacob Abraham Foundation (Cardiff)

  • Nicola Smerdon of 4Tom (South Wales Valleys)

  •  Nadine Taylor and Mandy Naylor of the Ginger Heart Foundation (Lancashire)

Mission

To prevent suicide/sudden death in persons taking alcohol and cocaine together (cocaethylene)

Vision

To break down the barriers that currently prevent this issue being talked about, researched fully and link up services to support anyone affected by these issues.
